Here are links and excerpts from two recently published letters by the Tacoma News Tribune.
“Stokes is well-qualified to represent District 2 on the Puyallup City Council, having served eight years on the Planning Commission with several years as the commission’s chair. I know him to be a hard worker who does his due diligence. Stokes has made good use of the five months since filing for office to prepare and update himself, as he doorbelled through the district speaking to voters. This was evidenced in the four candidate forums, where his subject knowledge was equal to his opponent.”

“It would be nice to see someone on the council like you and me. Who is better to represent us? Stokes is well versed on city issues. He is a retiree who has time to represent his constituents, and is easy for anybody to talk to.”
